"Prince. Purple Rain tour in Detroit, opening shows, four shows, four days one right after another. This was a fun shoot, we were all told we had to stay all the way in the back in the pit where they put us, even with a super long lens you weren't able to get anything. So half way through the show I grab my cameras, left my tripod in the pit, jumped over the barrier, ran all the way to the second row where I found a seat, sat down and I wiggled in there and I told the people that were sitting around me I would send them photos if they let me stay here, I did this for three nights in a row and this is one of the shots that I did of Prince."
